The Blues host Needham Market at home tomorrow night in the CSS Southern League Challenge Cup Preliminary Round. The match was scheduled for a couple of weeks ago but was postponed due to the ‘Marketmen’s’ involvement in the Emirates FA Cup. The winners of the tie will travel to St Ives Town next Tuesday for the 1st Round (Last 64). Last year, the Blues beat Cambridge City 1-0 and Needham Market on penalties (game ended 1-1 at the end of normal time) at home. They were defeated in the 2nd Round as they went down 1-0 at Victory Road to Lowestoft Town. If the match is level after normal time tomorrow night, the tie will go straight to penalties.

Needham Market currently sit in 15th place in the league table, with 8 points from their 7 matches. They went out to Lowestoft Town in the Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round on Saturday, losing 4-0.

In the only other match in the league tomorrow evening, 16th placed Kings Langley host 21st placed Hitchin Town.

The Blues themselves are away to Peterborough Sports at the weekend while Needham head to Bromsgrove Sporting.
