Leiston goalkeeper Marcus Garnham made his 100th club appearance yesterday against Kettering Town at Victory Road.
Marcus signed in the Summer of 2017 and made his first appearance on the first day of the 2017/2018 season against Dorking Wanderers, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.
He helped clinch the Blues a play-off place last season and has helped the Blues to two penalty shoot out wins. The first came in November 2017 against Folkestone Invicta as Leiston beat the Kent side 6-5 on penalties in the FA Trophy. The other came in this season’s Suffolk Premier Cup quarter-final win against Lowestoft Town as the Blues truimphed 3-2 in the shootout.
Congratulations to Marcus and we hope there are many more appearances to come at Victory Road in the future.
