“I’ve been tracking Zach for a couple of years following his departure from Norwich City. We are delighted to bring him to Leiston. He’s only 20 and continuing to develop and has a willingness to learn, but already has plenty of higher league experience at Wealdstone in the National League. He will bring really quality, ability and a fantastic attitude to our squad".

Zach added: - “I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and trying to help the team push towards the top end of the table. I know a couple of the lads and it’s a really good group both on and off the pitch, which helps with their goals for the season which the gaffer has spoken to me about and with the strong squad it’s very possible. The changing room environment is one that I feel I can thrive in and enjoy!”

Leiston continue to prep for the 2022/23 season as the side host Kirkley & Pakefield this weekend (1.30pm KO) and Brightlingsea Regent on the 30th (3pm KO) before the league opener at home to Nuneaton Borough on 6th August.
