Two first half goals was enough for Stamford to beat the Blues on Saturday afternoon and move out of the bottom four while Leiston dropped to 11th.
Leiston fell behind after just eight minutes when Leon Lobjoit struck home the rebound from the penalty spot after Billy Johnson had saved the Stamford players penalty following an initial handball in the box.
The home side made it two on 27 minutes when defender Jack Keeble headed home from a corner to double the hosts advantage.
Leiston tried their best to get back in the game but Stamford defended stoutly to prevent the Blues from getting back in the contest.
Thanks to the Blues supporters who travelled on Saturday in front of an attendance of 321.
Leiston are back in home action next weekend when Worcester City visit the Flannery Stadium.
