Leiston gain a point on their travels in Warwickshire

Leiston added another point to their tally after a game of two halves.

Stratford had most of the play in the first period and could have been three up at the break. They took the lead through Callum Ebanks on 24 minutes, with Leiston rarely threatening Liam O’Brien in the home goal.

The Blues were much better after the interval, and deservedly drew level on 67 minutes through Will Davies 29th goal of the campaign. It was the striker's 50th league goal. Joe Marsden made his 150th club appearance this evening for the Blues.

The draw keeps Leiston in third place in the league table as they head to AFC Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks to Stratford Town for their hospitality tonight and all the best for the last month of the season.

Also thanks to the Blues fans who made the long trip this evening. The attendance was 315.
