THE Blues begin their 15th campaign at Step 3 this coming weekend (Saturday 8th August) when they head to Leicestershire to face Anstey Nomads (3pm kick off).

Meanwhile, the Under 23’s host Old Newton United in the Suffolk & Ipswich League (SIL) Premier Division. Apart from two years in the SIL where Leiston ran an ‘A’ side between 2018 and 2020, a side from Leiston haven’t competed in the SIL since 2005, while they haven’t played in the SIL Premier (then Senior Division) since 2001.

There is no competitive game for the Under 18’s for a couple of weeks, when they start their league season at Needham Market.
