LEISTON UNDER 18’s take centre stage in midweek as they play host to Bromley in the FA Youth Cup First Round.

The Blues youngsters haven’t been in the First Round since 1954 when they faced Arsenal at Highbury. They lost 8-1 but Derek Spurling did put Leiston ahead early on in the game.

The Blues first team have no game in the week but they head to Bromsgrove Sporting next Saturday for another away league game.

Meanwhile, the Blues Under 23’s are back in home action at the Flannery Stadium next weekend as they welcome Haughley United.
