The Under 23's will start their new season at the Flannery Stadium with Old Newton United the visitors on Saturday 8th August as the Suffolk & Ipswich League has announced the opening fixtures of the new campaign.

It has been 25 years since a Leiston side competed in the Suffolk & Ipswich League Premier Division and Neil Smye's side will host a side they have met a few times recently in the Suffolk Senior Cup.

Four days after the opener the Under 23's make the half mile trip across Leiston to Junction Meadow where they will face Leiston St Margarets in a local derby on Wednesday 12th August.

After a trip to Trimley Red Devils on Saturday 15th August its another midweek encounter as reigning Suffolk & Ipswich League Premier Division Champions Coplestonians visit the Flannery Stadium on Tuesday 18th August.
