Leiston are back in home action this afternoon when Hitchin Town visit in the league.
The Blues point at Coalville last weekend has kept Leiston second in the table at present, with the Leicestershire side coming on strong and are now five points behind the Blues with two games in hand.
Hitchin drew 1-1 with Barwell on Monday night, and are 10th in the league standings currently but have played 33 games, more than anyone else.
Last Meeting: - Leiston won 3-0 at Hitchin in September last year, with goals from Finlay Barnes, Ben Fowkes and Will Davies. Hitchin have won just once at Victory Road, that came in the first ever meeting in Suffolk back in January 2019, when Hitchin won 2-1.

The Reserves head to Haverhill Borough this afternoon looking to start a run of form once again. They have a few U18’s in the squad today, who drew 3-3 at home to Brantham Athletic U18’s on Thursday night. Mackenzie Travis, Sam Cox and Regan King (pen) were all on target for the youngsters.
