Leiston host Redditch United tomorrow as they look to play just their second league game in five weeks. The Blues will welcome back George Quantrell to the fold, with the midfielder returning from Braintree Town in the week. George in fact will make his 100th appearance providing he plays tomorrow, having played 99 times in his first two seasons, netting 13 goals. Goalkeeper Sam Donkin will make his 150th appearance. Sam first joined the club in November 2019 and has hardly missed a game in that time.
Chris Wigger said on the re-signing of George Quantrell: - “George has been a fantastic player for Leiston a this club played a massive part in his development. We are delighted to have him back with us. He will come straight into the squad for Saturday and provide a massive boost for the group. The entire management has a great relationship with GQ and we know how to get him firing on all cylinders”.
