Game 15/42.
Leiston host Stamford in a first ever meeting between the two teams on Saturday at Victory Road.
Leiston bowed out of the FA Trophy on a cold Tuesday night in midweek to Peterborough Sports and will hope they can turn their fortunes around for this game. The Blues dropped a place to 20th in the league table on Tuesday also, with AFC Sudbury leapfrogging them after beating Coalville Town 3-0 away from home.
It will be the Blues last home game for at least four weeks as they head to Alvechurch, Nuneaton Borough, Hitchin Town and Bromsgrove Sporting in the next four games before returning to Suffolk on Saturday 23rd December against Stratford Town.
Stamford have made a great start in the league so far and sit just outside the play-off places at present, behind Leamington on goal difference. They have 29 points from 17 league games so far.

Stamford were formed in 1896 and are nicknamed ‘The Daniels’. They were promoted last campaign, winning the Northern Division One Central League.
The club played their football in the East Midlands League, Northamptonshire League and in the United Counties League in their early days. The club came to be known as "The Daniels" after Daniel Lambert, often cited as England's heaviest ever man, a Leicester resident who died in Stamford and is buried in the town. The club reached the First Round Proper of the FA Cup in the 2016-2017 season, beating Wrexham 3-2 away in a 4th Round Qualifying Replay. They lost 3-0 to Hartepool United in the First Round. Blues keeper Sam Donkin was their keeper in that cup run.
