The Blues get back to league action this weekend when they head to Worcestershire to take on Bromsgrove Sporting in the Pitching In Southern League Central Premier kick off 3pm.

A bit about Bromsgrove Sporting (football club and the town)
The club was founded in 2009 and played their first season in 2010/2011 in the Midland Combination Division Two. They have worked their way up the leagues and reached the semi-finals of the FA Vase in the 2016/2017 season, losing to Cleethorpes Town 2-1 on aggregate.
The 2018-19 season saw The Rouslers finish in second place behind Peterborough Sports, but after winning the Division One Central Play-Off semi-final against Sutton Coldfield Town 3-2 AET and the final against Corby Town 4-3 AET in front of a crowd of 2,943 at the Victoria Ground, Sporting were once again promoted, to the Southern League Premier Central Division, for the 2019-20 season.
They have played in the division since 2019, and they came 14th in the league last year.
In the 1700’s and 1800’s. Bromsgrove became famous for making nails. Just under 35,000 people live in the town.
