OVERVIEW

LEISTON are at home once again on Tuesday evening when Bishop’s Stortford visit in a league encounter, writes Craig Cooper.

Chris Wigger’s side gained a 3-0 home victory on Saturday against bottom club Stamford, with Adam Mills netting two and defender Eddie Jackson also on target. The win lifted Leiston three places up to 7th.

Bishop’s Stortford, meanwhile, are currently in 16th place, taking 19 points from 14 games.

They lost on penalties at the weekend at home to Cheshunt, after the game finished 1-1 after 90 minutes, in the Second Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.

Tonight’s match is sponsored by MIDLANDS ACCOMMODATION with RON BALDRY sponsoring the match ball. Our thanks for their tremendous support.

Leiston won 1-0 at Bishop’s Stortford in early September, with Jack Manly’s strike halfway through the first half, the difference between the two sides that night.
