OVERVIEW
LEISTON return to home comforts on Saturday afternoon when they host Royston Town in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central (3pm kick off), writes Craig Cooper.
The Blues dropped to 9th in the table in midweek after Stratford Town won 4-1 at home to Bishop’s Stortford. Royston Town are bottom of the table (22nd), having picked up 17 points from their 27 league games so far.
Chris Wigger should have a full squad to pick from as Leiston play their final game in what has been a busy January.
Earlier in the season, Leiston won 3-1 at Garden Walk, on Tuesday 14th October 2025, in front of 217 spectators.
Ronnie Blois, Adam Mills and an Adam Murray own goal were the Leiston scorers while Archie Locke scored for Royston Town.
Leiston have four away games in February in the league and just one match at home, while they also host Needham Market in the Suffolk Premier Cup Quarter Finals in the middle of the month.
