OVERVIEW
THE Blues play their second away game in the space of four days as they head to Leicestershire to take on Barwell on Saturday writes Craig Cooper.
Leiston’s 1-1 draw at Bury Town on Tuesday night, a match they played well in, moved them up three places into eighth position.
Chris Wigger could have Cameron Rayworth back from illness but Eddie Jackson will serve a one game suspension after picking up a red card against Royston Town at home last weekend.
Barwell have lost their last four games in the league but the Blues know there are no easy matches in this league.
The Leicestershire side are currently in 17th place and have 29 points from 28 league games at present and sit four points above the relegation zone.
The two teams drew 2-2 at The Flannery Stadium earlier in the season on Saturday 18th October 2025. Freddie Cook and Zayn Hakeem had given the away side a two goal lead at the break but Leiston fought back with goals from Jack Manly and a last-minute header from Ronnie Blois.
