THE Blues host Banbury United this weekend as they look for another three points after defeating Worcester City 1-0 last weekend, thanks to Willie Clemons’ early strike in the third minute writes Craig Cooper.

The side dropped a place to 11th in the league standings on Tuesday night as Banbury United drew 0-0 with Kettering Town, thus lifting them above the Blues.

Chris Wigger will be without Blues keeper Billy Johnson this weekend as the goalkeeper is away with Ipswich Town Ladies while Joao Rangel is on duty for his national Timor-Leste, who head to the Maldives in the Asia Cup Qualifiers.

BANBURY United FC were formed in 1931 and are nicknamed ‘The Puritans’. They play at the Spencer Stadium, which has been their home since 1934. Banbury is based in Oxfordshire.
