OVERVIEW
CHRIS Wigger’s team make a first ever visit to Quorn’s Farley Way Stadium this weekend as they play the first of three away games in their remaining games to end the 2025/2026 season.
A 3-1 home loss to Bury Town on Easter Monday meant Leiston slipped to 11th in the league table. It was the team’s first loss at home in the league of 2026.
Wyatt Hill will be suspended for tomorrow’s match after being shown a red card at Redditch United on Good Friday.
Quorn, meanwhile, are 7th at present after being in the play-off positions for most of the season. They have won their last six home games without conceding a goal! It’s a Suffolk double for Quorn as the following Saturday Needham Market visit. They end their season at Redditch United so their play off aspirations are within their own grasp.
The previous game earlier in the season saw Quorn win 3-2 in Suffolk. On that Saturday, 6th September 2025, Ben Fowkes and Spencer Keller were on target for Leiston. But goals from Zac Goodson, Dean Master and Simeon Cobourne saw the visitors overturn falling behind to take all the points back to Leicestershire.
Quorn have 64 points from their 39 league games this season and have a goal difference of +13.
