The difference between the sides apart from age was one game. It may not sound a lot but the advantage of the Bungay side having played together on Wednesday was evident as they started the game with a better understanding of each other's play. It was therefore not too surprising that they led by three goals at half time. That said, as the half progressed the reserves began to pass the ball better and had a goal disallowed when Kion Parchmont was ruled offside. The second half saw several changes as the whole squad were given a good run out and even with players playing out of position the half was more even, with more chances being created but unfortunately the only goal was scored by our hosts. Next week the team visit Claydon looking to build on an encouraging performance, if not the shoreline.
