OVERVIEW
THE Blues U23s head to Lincolnshire to face Holbeach United this weekend in their fourth league game of the season, writes Craig Cooper.
After 2-1 losses against Whittlesey Athletic (A) and Gorleston Reserves (H), the U23s got their first point of the season at home to FC Clacton last weekend, drawing 2-2, with Liam Shaw and Oscar Manly on target.
The U23s are bottom of the table at present (20th out of 20 teams) while Holbeach United sit in 14th position after three games.
After beating Needham Market Reserves 3-2 at home on the opening day, they have lost successive away games at FC Parson Drove (2-0) and Long Melford (3-2).
The Blues don't have the greatest record at Holbeach, having lost on their only three occasions there. Hopefully that will change this weekend.
