THE Blues U23s head to Norfolk once again this weekend to face Gorleston Reserves, at The Nest, in Horsford, in league action (3pm kick off), writes Craig Cooper.
Neil Smye’s team beat Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers 3-1 at home in the week to go within two points of Wivenhoe Town, with a game in hand.
Charlie Atkin and an Adam Mills’ double helped the team side to the three points as they won back-to-back home games.
Gorleston Reserves are 16th in the league at present, and have 32 points from their 30 league games so far.
The teams met earlier in the campaign in July 2025, with Gorleston Reserves winning 2-1 in Suffolk.
Corbyn Dixon and Mitchel McKay scored for the visitors while Oscar Manly netted for the Blues, in front of 51 spectators.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS IN NORFOLK
The two sides only meeting at this level (Step 6) before was on Saturday 14th December 2025, when the teams played out a 2-2 draw.
