LEISTON U23s play their penultimate away league game on Eastern Monday afternoon when they visit Essex club, Holland FC, a place where Leiston’s second string have never won in five previous visits.

The Blues U23s put in a strong performance against Long Melford on Saturday afternoon to move to within a point of Wivenhoe Town.

A first senior hat-trick for Ollie Long helped the side to a 4-0 win, with sub Ashton Rayworth getting a late goal also. The win put the U23s onto 20 points.

Holland FC won 1-0 at FC Parson Drove on Saturday and currently sit in second place, but a victory against Leiston will see them go top as Kings Park Rangers don’t play again until Wednesday evening.

They are two points behind Kings Park Rangers at present but have played a game more.

In the reverse fixture earlier in the season, on Saturday, 8th November 2025, Holland won 4-0 at The Flannery Stadium. Harry Brown, Reuben Cowler, Benjamin Dixon and Kyelan Marvell scored for Holland FC, with 51 spectators watching on.
