OVERVIEW
THE Blues U23’s make the trip to Haverhill Rovers this afternoon as the side play the top of the table team.
Haverhill are well clear at the top of the table and have 78 points from their 29 league games so far, winning 25 of them.
The only game they have lost was at Leiston in the final Saturday of October, with the U23’s winning 1-0 thanks to Ethan Oldman’s header in front of a crowd of 68.
Last season, the Blues U23’s lost 4-2 at Haverhill Rovers in the first meeting between the sides at Step 6 (Leiston first team had play Haverhill Rovers before but not the U23’s).
Ollie Griggs and Mackenzie Travis scored for Leiston while Kelvin Enaro, Joe Greenslade-Cross, Adrian Moyles and Callum Stone netted for Haverhill in front of 122 spectators.

BLUES BOSS NEIL SMYE...
“We are obviously expecting a tough game at Haverhill Rovers. I think against Holbeach recently we had a really good work ethic and created problems against them.
"We played well against Framlingham Town in the week and we look forward to trying to bounce back. We know we need to be better than we were last Saturday at home to Henley Athletic in the Suffolk Senior Cup.”
COMING UP FOR THE BLUES
