The Reserves moved down a place to 13th in the table after losing 4-0 at Victory Road to a very good Mulbarton Wanderers side. An early Tom Hislop header was cleared off the line by Jourdan Kiwomya as the Norfolk team dictated the early play. They did indeed take the lead in the 12th minute. A mix up at the back let in Sam Whiting he made no mistake to net past Finley Noon in the home goal. Jourdan Kiwomya headed wide for Leiston in their first attempt at goal, but as the Blues tried to get back in the game, Dom Doggett curled home from the edge of the area to double the visitors lead. Josh Cheetham put the ball wide after a run at the away defence while just before half time, Noon thwarted Ben Thompson from a free kick as the follow up was put over the crossbar.
The Reserves made a double change at the break, with Michael Carrigan and Louie Bloom replacing Josh Cheetham and Alexander Coldwell. Jourdan Kiwomya had the first sight of goal in the second period but fired over. Young keeper Finley Noon punched away a corner and reacted well to deny Thompson once more. Leiston had a great chance to get back in the match as Mason Sinclair turned his defender brilliantly but Tom Wright superbly blocked his strike. The match was finished in the 62nd minute and over as a contest as Tom Amis poked home the loose ball from a corner for Mulbarton. Sam Whiting got his second, netting after a good delivery into the box. Late on, Louie Bloom forced Wright into a decent stop and Noon stood up tall to prevent sub Toby Oliver getting a fifth goal.
