LEISTON are delighted to announce the signing of striker Adam Marriott
Adam, 35, joins the Blues from King’s Lynn.
A prolific goalscorer with more than 220 goals in almost 500 appearances throughout his League and non-league career, Adam has played in League Two for Stevenage, where he played 19 games, as well as National League/Conference appearances for the likes of Cambridge United, Lincoln City, Eastleigh, Barnet, Bromley and King’s Lynn.
Adam was part of the Lincoln team that famously knocked Ipswich Town out of the FA Cup in 2016, his through ball setting up the late winner for Nathan Arnold!
“I’m really excited to get on the pitch and play in front of the Leiston fans,” Adam said.
“Hopefully I have plenty of goals still left in me. I’ve got many over the years. I want to play games and if I do that, I know the goals will come. I’m looking forward to showing the Leiston fans what I can do.
“I’ve spoken to a couple of the players at Leiston who I know, and they’ve told me what a great club it is. I can’t wait to get going.”
Adam brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Club and everyone at Leiston is delighted to have him on board and wishes him well.
