U23’s win third game on the bounce
Leiston U23’s defeated Whittlesey Athletic 4-2 at home this afternoon to move up to fourth in the Thurlow Nunn First Division North table.
The Blues youngsters led at the break thanks to goals from Mackenzie Travis, Warren Buckman and Elliott Young.
In the second period, the visitors pulled two goals back through Thomas Boston and Isaac Jobling but Cameron Rayworth made sure of the points late on.

The U23’s now beginning two away fixtures in a row as they head to Pinchbeck United next Saturday (3pm kick off) in a first ever meeting between the two sides.
