Callum, 28, has joined the Blues from Stanway Rovers where, as captain last season, he helped the club to play-off glory in Isthmian North – making it back-to-back promotions for Callum and Rovers, after they won the Essex Senior League two seasons ago.

“I’m really excited to be here,” Callum said.

“I’m looking forward to playing in a different league. There are obviously some very big teams in this league and I want to play on bigger stages in front of plenty of people.

“I’m someone who likes to go about their business every week, be consistent. Nothing flashy, ooze confidence throughout the team and keep those clean sheets.”

While welcoming Callum, we say goodbye and thank you to Billy Johnson who continues to pursue his goalkeeping career on and off the field. Billy played 100 games for the Blues and of course scored one very famous goal! Good luck Billy.
