LEE Harrison’s Under 18 side exited went the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday night at the Flannery Stadium after a brave performance against Bromley.

The side went behind just after the half hour mark when Riley Stammers shot home spectacularly from distance but Ollie Long levelled three minutes later when he latched on to Liam Shaw’s ball and fired home beyond visiting keeper Charlie Burton.

But, just before the interval in the 44th minute, Max Rope put the visitors back in front from close range.

Bromley had chances in the second half but Leiston defended very well but they couldn’t force a leveller late on.

Bromley will now face AFC Wimbledon in the Second Round.
