OVERVIEW
THE Blues host Bromsgrove Sporting this weekend after being on the road for the last two games at Bury Town and Barwell respectively.
A good performance in Leicestershire last weekend against Barwell saw Leiston come away with a great win thanks to Willie Clemons winner on 95 minutes. Adam Mills and Harvey Sayer were also on the scoresheet.
The win kept Leiston 8th, with only three games on last weekend and the Blues have now played more than most the teams around them as they play six at home and six away games before the end of April.
Bromsgrove Sporting are in 16th place at present and they have 30 points from their 28 league games so far.
The teams met on Saturday 1st November in Worcestershire with Bromsgrove getting a late winner.
James Sanderson put Bromsgrove Sporting into a first half lead before Eddie Jackson levelled the game just after the interval. But late on, sub Luke Benbow grabbed a late winner to claim all the points for the hosts in front of a crowd of 510.
Leiston are likely to be without Ben Fowkes, but captain Seb Dunbar, Eddie Jackson and Jude Frostick should all return to the squad after missing last week’s win.

ABOUT BROMSGROVE SPORTING
THE side were formed in 2009 as a supporters consortium with the plan to buy Bromsgrove Rovers, and to take that football club out of administration.
They competed in the Midlands Football League for a while and they reached the FA Vase semi-finals in the 2016/2017 season but missed out to Cleethorpes Town.
They beat Sutton Coldfield Town and Corby Town to get promoted to Step 3 in 2018/2019 and have remained a Step 3 club ever since.
They are managed by former Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City goalkeeper Tim Flowers, who won the Premier League with Blackburn in 1995. Flowers was also included in England’s squad at Euro 96 and France 98, but didn’t play.
