OVERVIEW
THE Blues play their first home game for nearly three weeks this weekend when they welcome Stamford to Suffolk, writes Craig Cooper.
Midweek results saw Leiston drop to 10th in the league standings but the Blues are still only five points off third place, having taken 22 points from 15 league games.
Last week saw the team battle it out for a point at Worcester City, in a stadium which holds more than 12,000 spectators. Joao Rangel was on target with a spectacular long-range effort as the sides drew 1-1.
Stamford are bottom of the table and have 7 points from their 15 games so far in the league.
Leiston took four points off Stamford last season, drawing 1-1 at home in November 2024 before winning 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Lincolnshire in February this year.
Cameron Rayworth could return to the team after missing out last week with a groin problem.
The game will kick-off at 3.03pm, in support of the National League's 3UP promotion to the EFL from the National League campaign.
